From its inception until 2024, the Local SEO Community thrived solely as a Facebook group. Initially, our courses and resources were hosted on the LocalClientTakeover website, which featured extensive local SEO training, blogs, case studies, and more. However, following the sale of the LCT and Web 20 Ranker brands and the subsequent archival of our flagship training content, we recognized the need to establish a standalone brand.
Our History
Founded in August 2020 by Chaz Edward, Local SEO Community started as a Facebook group managed by the team at Chaz's former white label agency. Designed as a hub for local SEO practitioners, agencies, and SMBs, the group provided a platform for the latest news, tips, and strategies for excelling at local SEO and Google Maps ranking.
